Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU I) position requiring a current GA or compact license and at least 18 months of recent experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position based in a Special Care Nursery (NICU I) within a hospital setting
• Cares for critically ill neonates and infants
• 12-hour AM shifts
• 13-week assignment with no on-call responsibilities
• Floating not specified
• Responsibilities include providing specialized care to neonates in a special care nursery
• Strict limitations on requested time off (RTO): up to 5 days if not near a holiday, up to 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday, and only one holiday request allowed
• Multiple days of RTO around holidays will not be approved
• Returning travelers must meet separation requirements as outlined
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active Georgia or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 18 months recent full-time NICU experience
• Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Former permanent staff at Emory or Houston must be separated for at least 1 year; 18 months if returning to the same facility
