Transitions At Home , is currently seeking a Full-Time detail?oriented Healthcare Administrative Assistant in Spooner . Must be compassionate, professional, and able to multitask in a fast?paced environment.

What does a Transitions At Home Administrative Assistant do?

Transitions At Home Administrative Assistant is responsible for running eligibility on all referrals, completing all patient authorizations, tracking and managing authorizations, monitoring and tracking Accounts Receivable payments, researching any discrepancies between accounts receivable and the general ledger, performing month?end on accounts receivable, and assisting with office tasks. All work is performed under the supervision of the Administrator.

Hours: Full?Time

Work Location: On?Site

• Monday through Friday

Qualifications / Job Requirements:

• Business?related degree or high school diploma and comparable experience in office management
• Previous experience in eligibility and referrals (1 year Home Health preferred)
• Previous experience in authorization requests (1 year Home Health preferred)
• Previous experience in tracking and managing authorizations (1 year Home Health preferred)
• Previous health?care office experience
• Ability to work independently with organizational skills and to prioritize tasks
